ChristmasTotal is a free Christmas countdown website operated by HIVVEN. We've built this site with privacy as a default, not an afterthought. The short version: we don't collect, store, or share any personal data.

What we do not do

• We do not use tracking cookies.
• We do not run third-party advertising.
• We do not sell, share or trade your data with anyone.
• We do not require accounts, logins, or personal information.
• We do not use analytics that profile individuals.

What is processed when you visit

Like every website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) automatically receives some technical information when your browser requests a page:

• Your approximate IP address
• Your browser type and operating system
• The time and date of your request
• The URL you accessed

This data is processed by Cloudflare solely to deliver the website, protect against attacks and provide basic caching. We don't store these logs ourselves and we don't combine them with any other data. Cloudflare's privacy practices are described at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Cookies and local storage

ChristmasTotal does not set any cookies of its own. Your browser may use its built-in storage to remember which language you chose; that information stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.

Local time detection

The live countdown reads your browser's time zone (via the standard Intl.DateTimeFormat API) to show you the remaining time in your own time. Everything happens in your browser. No location, no coordinates, no precise time data leaves your device.

External links

We link to Google Play and the Apple App Store for our companion app. Once you follow those links, the respective store's privacy policy applies to your visit there. We don't pass any information about you to them.

Children

The countdown is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Because we don't collect personal data, there is generally nothing to request, correct, or delete. If you believe we hold data about you, contact us using the address in the legal notice and we will respond promptly.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the site works in a way that affects this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
